Derek Frail is a member of the firm’s investment management team. He also serves as Portfolio Manager and offers direct services to Private Wealth Management clients.
Derek joined Louisbourg Investments in 2013. He previously worked for over 15 years as an actuary and a management team member of a life insurance company based in the Halifax region. He also worked as an investment advisor for 10 years.
Derek holds a bachelor of science (mathematics major) from Saint Mary’s University. He also obtained the chartered investment manager (CIM®) designation and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA).
